Running on-trade campaigns on gut feeling gets expensive fast. The client needed to know which venues in Cyprus and Italy were worth the effort for listings, sampling and menu deals, based on how a place actually trades, not a postcode list.
We built a venue targeting platform that pulls together the signals that matter: reviews, delivery and reservation platforms, social presence, location and venue type, and the drinks a place already lists. Each venue gets a fit score per campaign, and the planner pulls clean target lists by region, segment and priority.
Planning that used to mean weeks of manual list-building now takes about a day. The platform has become the starting point for on-trade activations in both markets, with a profile for every venue in scope that keeps updating over time.
